Restoration of glassware
The renovation process uses a powdered detergent sanitiser (such as Proton Renovate) formulated for the de-filming, de-staining and restoration of drinking glasses.
The renovation process will:
- Remove greasy or non-rinseable films from glassware, and so keep the head on beer.
- Treat new glassware prior to use to remove the chemicals used in glass manufacture, especially the glass mould release agent.
- Restore etched-base lager glassware, and so help improve the head with better gas breakout or 'bubble'.
- Cleans beer and stout residues from glasswash machines, and sanitises the interior tank and wash system.
